BATESVILLE, Ark. (May 3, 2024) – Continuing a long-standing commitment to helping our customers enrich the beauty, productivity and sustainability of the land, Intimidator Group and The Toro Company Foundation are pleased to announce this year’s Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program. The program is open to nonprofits in the Batesville area and surrounding communities. 

The Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program provides funding opportunities for qualifying nonprofits to revitalize and preserve the outdoor spaces in their communities. Grant support in previous years has gone towards building neighborhood gardens focused on sustainable agriculture, transforming neglected park spaces and playgrounds, and educating communities on the importance of water conservation – among other projects. 

One of last year’s recipients, Batesville School District, received funding to build a nature playscape for preschool students to enhance their understanding of the environment and engage in real-world learning opportunities. Creating an accessible outdoor space encourages appreciation for the environment, which is why we’re dedicated to helping organizations cultivate beautiful and functional outdoor environments to enjoy.

Qualifying organizations for this program must be located within 40 miles of the Intimidator Group location. Applications must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. (CDT) on July 31st for the Greenspace Enhancement Grant Program.
